Kim Kardashian is getting ready to add baby number three to her growing family with Kanye West next year thanks to a hired surrogate. So, now it is time to party hearty before the bundle of joy makes his or her way into the world. Over the weekend, the 36-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians celebrity threw a beautiful baby shower with a cherry blossoms theme. Kim Kardashian's younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, documented the event with pictures for social media. Take a look:

It is worth noting Khloe Kardashian supposedly is also getting ready to have her first child with her Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. However, the 33-year-old Revenge Body personality does not look to be showing. Plus, Khloe Kardashian has neither confirmed nor denied her pregnancy, though her fans on social media previously pointed to some of her social media activities as indications of her pregnancy. For instance, Khloe Kardashian went barefoot on an ice rink for a photo-op with Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, so some people thought it was a safety precaution for her alleged pregnancy.
Anyway, let's get back to this beautiful cherry blossoms baby shower. Reportedly, Kim Kardashian gave guests gifts including crystals and bottles of her new fragrance. In addition to Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian's famous sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner made an appearance at the event, and so did Kim Kardashian's gal pals Chrissy Teigen and Maria Menounos. Plus, Kim Kardashian's celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin also appeared at the event, as did Miroslava Duma, the CEO and Founder of Fashion Tech Lab, who posted this Instagram picture with the mom of the hour:

The event took place at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's home in Los Angeles, as noted by US Weekly, and the title of the theme was Tea for Three. It sounds perfect, especially for Kim Kardashian, who loves tea. In fact, Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence recently mentioned Kim Kardashian's love for tea when she filled in for Jimmy Kimmel and interviewed the KUWTK celebrity. J. Law talked about having a dinner at Kris Jenner's house and having drinks with the family's matriarch while Kim Kardashian instead sipped tea the whole time.
Kim Kardashian first revealed her intent to have a third child with Kanye West during the last season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Her family felt concern over the issue because she previously had complicated pregnancies when she carried her daughter North West and son Saint West. When Kim Kardashian's physician determined she no longer could carry children although her eggs remained viable, the reality television personality and her Grammy Award-winning husband turned to surrogacy. Then KUWTK opened its latest season with Kim Kardashian announcing the pregnancy and confirming reports about her surrogate's successful impregnation.
Personally, I think the cherry blossom theme is tres chic. It gives Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish's lavish Lion King theme a run for its money as the best baby shower theme this year. Plus, even though the theme is pink galore, it still somehow works for a party at which people don't know whether the baby will be a boy or girl. Speaking of which, we'll have to stay tuned for updates in that department from Kim Kardashian.
