Why Justin Bieber Punched A Dude In The Face At Coachella

Justin Bieber "Purpose" Music Video

While Beyoncé Knowles and her recent reunion with Destiny's Child is (understandably) dominating the headlines out of Coachella at the moment, Justin Bieber is earning some attention from the outdoor music festival as well. But it's not for his music. As it is reported today, when a man grabbed a woman by the throat at a Coachella party and wouldn't release his grip, Bieber allegedly punched the man in the face and threw him against a wall.

To back things up a bit, here's what supposedly happened, according to TMZ. Justin Bieber and his friend showed up at a Coachella party attended by Patrick Schwarzenegger. The pop singer was talking to some people when a guy walked in -- reportedly on drugs -- and spotted a woman he knew. It is believed she was an ex-girlfriend. The gentleman went wild, and it wasn't long before he attacked the woman. That's when Justin Bieber intervened. The singer and his friend were yelling at the guy to let go of his grip, but he only yelled back, "Go fuck yourself." That's reportedly when Justin Bieber made his strike.

It doesn't end there, though. The guy was instantly thrown out of the party, and he was later spotted yelling at an SUV that he believed carried Justin Bieber. He was yelling Justin Bieber's name over and over again and hitting the vehicle in the process. It was previously believed that he was arrested, but it was later revealed that he wasn't. No one reported the choking incident to authorities, apparently. It's unclear what happened to the guy after his party attack.

Away from this noteworthy altercation at Coachella, Justin Bieber is dealing with a lot of emotional turmoil at the moment. As it was recently reported, his on-and-off relationship with Selena Gomez switched back off. It is reportedly because of Selena Gomez's family, who did not trust having Justin Bieber back in their lives again. While there were initial reports that the celebrity couple was still together, those were quickly debunked. The musicians first got together in 2010, and they've shared a relationship filled with many ups-and-downs. They reconnected toward the end of last year. It was a rekindled love that wasn't meant to last, though. At least, not until they get back together again. (Assuming they get back together again, of course. We'll see.)

In the meantime, we'll keep you posted if there are any additional updates regarding this Coachella incident. In other, less violent news, Justin Bieber recently flaunted all his chest tattoos, which you can look at here. It is reportedly over a hundred hours worth of ink, and you can certainly tell. That man sure loves his tats.

*Of course Justin Bieber has never been a stranger to making weird headlines. It's nice to know this time he was acting out in what seems like a productive way. If you want to walk down memory lane with a less productive incident, however, you can flip over to the next page and relive that time the Biebs decided to pee in a janitor's bucket. *
