Parks And Jessica Alba is in trouble with Oklahoma authorities after allegedly defacing public property as part of an animals rights protest.

Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation's Wendell Whisenhunt has filed an official report against Alba after photos emerged online that appear to show the actress plastering posters of a shark on electrical boxes, a bridge and a billboard for the charity United Way in the state's capital. Alba, who is in Oklahoma filming a movie, was trying to raise awareness for the much-maligned killer fish, reports TMZ.com.

A representative for Alba has offered to replace United Way's billboard after the non-profit organization confirmed they would have to use their own money to replace their ad. Cops have confirmed they have requested to speak to Alba over the incident. (PAW/WNWCZM/KL) Jessica Alba has apologized for defacing public property in Oklahoma with shark posters. Alba was reportedly making an animal rights protest, but accepts she was wrong to deface property.

In a statement released on Tuesday (09Jun09), she said, "I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident." (KL/WNWCZM/PAW)
