Alleged Amanda Bynes Victim Says She's Glad Actress Lost Her License

Just days after the state of California officially suspended Amanda Bynes’ drivers license, one of the alleged victims of her wretched run of vehicular write-ups has decided to speak out. Not surprisingly, she’s less than impressed with the former All That actress’ performance behind the wheel.

In a new interview with TMZ, the woman who was allegedly hit on August 4 told the outlet the DMV made the right call by taking away her license because something very serious likely would have happened if she’d been allowed to continue driving.

"Someone could have died if [Amanda] kept driving. A normal person would not get away with hit and runs and she shouldn't either."

Considering Bynes has been accused of driving drunk, running into a police car and causing several other accidents, all since the beginning of the year, it’s understandable why someone would make the first comment. However, given how the DMV works, if Bynes wasn’t famous, it’s actually possible she might still have her driver’s license. The only reason she was charged with either hit-and-run was because the prosecutor looked into both cases after they were widely reported. So, in a way, having a high profile may have actually screwed her over.

Still, it’s hard to have sympathy for a girl who has had so many vehicular concerns over the past few months. At some point, everyone else’s safety has to be considered.
