Amanda Bynes Reportedly Wandered Around New York City For Hours

People with disposable income and no job-related concerns don’t often leave Los Angeles for New York City right as the weather is getting ready to start moving in the wrong direction, but then again, Amanda Bynes hasn’t exactly been behaving as expected the past six months. From allegedly hit-and-running a cop car to reportedly spending almost two hours in a boutique dressing room, she’s been all about following her own strange itineraries lately, and yesterday was reportedly evidence of that.

According to TMZ, Bynes left Los Angeles earlier this weekend, hit up the mid-town area of New York City on Saturday and wandered around without any conceivable plan for hours. Apparently, the actress headed Northeast because she’s convinced her movements won’t be as rigorously tracked, but if this story is any indication, there are still plenty of eyeballs on the Hairspray star. In fact, I’m not sure there’s anywhere in the United States she could go at this point where people wouldn’t forward on her movements.

Bynes hasn’t spoken publically on how she’s enjoying the change of scenery, but with all of her upcoming court dates, she may not be able to stay in the Big Apple very long. She’s facing real jail time on the DUI, hit and run and driving with a suspended license charges. One would seriously hope this flight to New York wasn’t an attempt to evade them, but I suppose we’ll see over the next few weeks. Until then, here’s to hoping she takes the subway.
