Barba-mania

Britney Spears: the head-shaving, rehabbing mom of two going loco certainly gets your attention. Anna Nicole: the late model who’s baby daddy’s mystery remains and her remains just got Bahama-bound after a month of deliberation has been a buzz issue on a daily basis. Nonetheless, these celeb trainwrecks, along with the countless other stars who either burn too brightly, burn themselves or burn anybody close to them are NOT the hot topic across the USA and around the world: who we want to know about is Antonella.

Straight from the Garden State, New Jersey’s own possible American Idol Antonella Barba is who is revving search engines these days. At the end of February, it was announced by multiple web sites that “Antonella Barba” is, by far, the most searched for term worldwide. Furthermore, the need to see Barba online is only ramping up, as the searches have gone up 47,000 % from the third week of Feb to the last, according to CasinoGamblingWeb.com.

Of course most of us know why. Some of her former Point Pleasant, NJ buddies have flooded eager gossip gulping webmasters and reporters with examples of Anto’s past work, and possibly some past porno. She has verified that the modelling pics are the real deal, but still denies that the X-rated photos of her being very, er, giving, are sincere. (Many intrepid journalists have dedicated themselves to studying the questionable shots, but the verdict is still out on their validity.)

Meanwhile, Antonella Barba perseveres. The girl with the mediocre pipes yet sexy body made it through another round of cuts, but will Randy, Paula, Simon and America keep it alive for her? Many believe her Idol chances are slim, but most will agree that other opportunities exist in the future. In fact, Access Hollywood reports that Hugh Hefner has made it know he will “absolutely” put Barba in Playboy if she gets denied on A.I., an announcement that might just have me calling in for Sundance Head next time.
