Betty White Confirms Rumors Of SNL Appearance

For those of us who want more laughs from Betty White after her appearance in the Snickers ad that premiered during the Super Bowl, it seems we will be getting to see the former Golden Girls star on Saturday Night Live.

According to People, who spoke with White at Elton John’s Oscar viewing party last night, White said she would be doing SNL. Whether it’s a hosting gig or just an appearance, White didn’t say, nor would (or possibly “could”) she say exactly when she’d be appearing on the popular NBC sketch comedy series.

Entertainment Weekly posted last month that their sources say SNL is putting together a “Women of Comedy” episode, which would feature White as one of the hosts. Other mentioned names in this project were Molly Shannon (EW says she’s on board) and maybe Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Whether or not this is the appearance White was speaking of when she said she was doing the show remains to be seen.
