Bo Derek Appointed To Save Horses

That Arnold Schwarzenegger is a genius. While the rest of the world is burdened with reading about old, rich white appointed officials, the California governor has taken it upon himself to spice up the beauocracy with a little hot, sexy eighties throwback flare.

According to E! Online, heartthrob and perfect ten Bo Derek has been assigned to the California Horse Racing Board, a seven member committee which monitors all the betting with the horses and the jockeys and the trainers and the compulsive gamblers. A long-time equine enthusiast, Derek wrote a 2002 memoir titled Riding Lessons: Everything That Matters In Love I Learned From Horses. I’m not exactly sure what this job entails, but it sounds like Bo is probably the right woman for it.

Her new position comes with a salary of one hundred dollars a day and a handy-dandy nametag. Here’s to hoping Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels appoints Scarlett Johansson as the new county coroner and Penelope Cruz as a head meter maid.
