I was raised in the Windy City. I like the Chicago Cubs. I like Polish Sausage. I like cold weather, Old Chicago Stadium, Navy Pier, and I especially love Bozo The Clown. In fact, everyone raised in Chicago loves Bozo The Clown. That goofy-haired clown was on television for decades, and trying to get tickets was well, almost impossible. The waiting period to even get into the free raffle was ten years. It’s easier to get into the Super Bowl than that!

According to The Washington Post, Larry Harmon aka Bozo The Clown aka the greatest circus performer ever passed away at the age of eighty-three on Thursday. Here’s where things get a little complicated. Larry Harmon wasn’t my Bozo The Clown. That was Bob Bell. Larry Harmon was the guy who owned the character and auditioned individual Bozos in each city. I’m pretty sure he’s the guy behind the guy behind the guy that Trent was talking about in Swingers.
