Charlie Sheen Donates $75 Thousand To Help Cop's Daughter With Her Cancer Fight

Charlie Sheen was hanging out in Hermosa Beach the other day when he got to talking to a police officer about life. The cop casually mentioned that he was trying to raise money for the ten-year-old daughter of a co-worker battling a form of cancer called Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma. Sheen said he’d do his best to help, and sure enough, the next day a check for $75,000 showed up, made out to the Hermosa Beach Police Association and earmarked for Officer Faulk’s daughter.
According to TMZ, Sheen told his longtime stunt double Eddie Braun about the situation, and he fired off his own check for $25,000. Those two large sums of money plus everything already in the fund should be enough to handle Jasmine’s medical bills at least for awhile, and hopefully, all the publicity will be enough to convince other people to donate money for Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma research.
Charlie may have had his share of run-ins with police officers in the past, but these days, it’s nice to know that he’s able to respect the contributions they make to our society. In addition, it’s nice to know he’s giving money to more worthy causes. Earlier this year, he gave Lindsay Lohan a huge check to help her with her tax problems, and she reportedly didn’t even bother thanking him. One would imagine he wouldn’t have the same problem with these nice folks.
