Chris Pratt Speaks With Pride About His Baby's Accomplishments

Actors Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have a happy, healthy baby, but things weren’t perfect when their firstborn child first came into the universe. He had ten cute little toes and ten cute little fingers, but unfortunately, little Baby Jack was born over two months premature.

Earlier this week, Pratt visited the set of the Late Show with David Letterman to talk Zero Dark Thirty as well as little Jack, who has already had his first television appearance--well, within his mother's tummy--during an episode of Top Chef. Now four months old, little Jack has totally gotten through the challenge of being a premature baby and has moved forward to achieve new milestones.

In typical enthusiasm, Pratt spoke keenly about his boy’s health, not shying away from his premature birth but caring more about where Jack is now—the little tyke has even begun laughing!

“He was born nine weeks premature, so we spent a month in the intensive care unit with him. But he’s totally healthy now. He is just so perfect and I love him so much.”

During the interview, Pratt really can’t stop talking about how impressed he is with his kid, and after having to spend so much time in the hospital, he deserves a bit of happiness, and that won’t even get a snarky comment from me. It’s good to hear both parents are doing well, and their baby is doing even better. Pop Blend wishes the happy couple the very best as they move forward with little Jack in tow.
