Actor Gary Coleman has been charged with reckless driving and disorderly conduct after allegedly hitting a man with his car.

Coleman and his wife Shannon Price are accused of hitting Colt Rushton after leaving a Utah bowling alley, where the plaintiff attempted to take photographs of the couple.

Rushton claims he took a few shots of the former Diff'rent Strokes star and his wife before a member of the star's entourage confronted him, telling him he would have to pay for the privilege of photographing the actor.

Rushton declined the offer and then took shots of Coleman later on as the actor exited the bowling alley.

The plaintiff claims he was attacked from behind by members of Coleman's entourage and then the actor himself "hit him in the chest and other parts of his body," according to legal documents.

As Coleman drove away in a truck, Rushton claims he approached the vehicle to try and get a cellphone that had been taken from him back and that's when Coleman allegedly "slammed the truck into reverse, swerved and swung the front of the truck into him, hitting him, throwing him to the ground and possibly running him over."

Rushton claims he continues to suffer from injuries incurred in the incident. (KL/WNVET/LJ)
