Daniel Radcliffe, like most English celebrities, is pretty straightforward. I like that. That’s not to say that all American actors are tight lipped tele-prompter-addicts; but Zac Efron isn’t likely to drop a line about hookers in an interview. That being said, apparently the Harry Potter star dropped drinking out of his daily routine as of August 2010 because he feared he was growing too reliant on the hard stuff.

Radcliffe told GC UK that he began drinking just to enjoy things, saying,
“There were a few years there when I was just so enamoured with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me.”
The final Potter film wrapped up last August, which coincides with when he gave up drinking; perhaps he had a nasty bout at a post-Potter-party? Or maybe he just wanted to try to hang on to the 48 million pounds he has accumulated over his Potter filming career. Regardless, this means that bumping into Radcliffe at a London pub just became increasingly less likely.

Radcliffe said of his immense fortune that,
“I don't know what to do with it. I'm very fortunate to have it, and it gives you room to manouevre,” he said. “But the main thing about having money is it means you don't have to worry about it. And that for me is a lovely thing. It's not for fast cars and hookers.”
First of all, in what language do you spell maneuver like that? Second of all, what the hell is money for if not for fast cars and hookers? Clearly Charlie Sheen and Daniel Radcliffe will not be hitting the same parties, because telling Sheen no hookers, cars, or booze would be like telling Winnie the Pooh no honey, honey, or honey.
