Demi Moore Says Changing Twitter Name Not High Priority
Some women change their names immediately after getting a divorce. Others wait until the stress associated with a dramatic life change subsides, and others never change their names at all. The decision of when and whether to do it is an intensely personal one that outsiders normally appreciate, but when it comes to Twitter, thatís another matter entirely.
Apparently, the soon to be divorced Demi Moore has been getting streams of Tweets imploring her to change her handle. She famously tweets under the moniker ďMrsKutcherĒ, which was probably an ego boost for her former husband Ashton, but now that heís out of the picture is a little strange and perhaps a bit sad. Donít look for her to click the required buttons to show up under another name anytime soon though. Moore told her followers that switching wasnít exactly her highest priorityÖ
Ēchanging my twitter name isn't a top priority right now. sorry it bothers so many of u. should I not tweet until I do?does it really matter?Ē
As unfortunate as Asthonís very public mistake was, he and Moore still had a lot of good times during their six year marriage. He really seemed to get along with her family, and they always seemed to be laughing and smiling whenever they were photographed together. Iím sure Demi doesnít want to be known as Mrs. Kutcher on Twitter for the rest of her life, but I can definitely see why she would be a bit sad about changing it.
Twitter may not have the same power as a divorce court, but there is still something that feels very final about changing your name on it.
