American football star Chris Henry has been killed after falling from a moving pick-up truck in North Carolina. He was 26.

The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver died early on Thursday (17Dec09) at Charlotte Medical Center after suffering serious injuries following the accident, which took place shortly after noon on Wednesday (16Dec09).

Henry is believed to have leaped onto the truck following what police have described as a "domestic situation" between him and his fiancee Loleini Tonga, who was driving the truck. According to TMZ.com, Tonga was questioned at the scene, but not arrested. Henry had played for the Bengals for five years. (IG/WNWCNN&WNWCZM/MT)
