The days following Michelle Duggar’s miscarriage were filled with stories following the family and interviews with the family’s patriarch, Jim Bob Duggar. The 19 Kids and Counting family didn’t have it easy – Michelle was still in the hospital with complications and their 20th baby still needed a name. After settling on Jubilee Shalom Duggar, the family quietly moved forward with plans for a memorial service.

A ceremony to commemorate Jubilee Shalom was held in Springdale, Arkansas Wednesday. Hundreds of people showed up for the memorial service to support the Duggar family in their difficult time. Mother Michelle spoke out about the service.
"There are people praying for us and angels surrounding our home, and there was peace in the sorrow and the grief. Those feelings are mingled together."

The Duggars contracted Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, an organization that works with families to help memorialize fallen babies, to create photos that were used during the memorial service. According to People, the family also recorded a letter for Jubilee that was played during the service. The letter was prerecorded so that Michelle Duggar could get out what she wanted to say to her stillborn daughter more easily.

Michelle Duggar later spoke out about grief.
"I feel a great sorrow and grief, and yet at the same time I have a peace in my heart."

I’m sure the last week has been a whirlwind for the Duggar family. It will be nice for them to be able to return to a solid routine and maintain a bit of normalcy, even if they can’t forget the loss of their stillborn daughter. Pop Blend’s thoughts go out to the Duggar family through the remainder of this difficult time.
