Jesse James Calls Sandra Bullock Some Hollywood Actress
By Mack Rawden 4 years ago
Reality television star and motorcycle builder Jesse James used his show American Chopper: The Build-Off to try and apologize or maybe justify his recent personal life troubles, but his statements on last night’s episode didn’t exactly endear himself to many viewers. Citing his marriage to “some Hollywood actress” as the catalyst for distancing himself from long-time friends and acquaintances, James said he hopes to reconnect and prove he’s the same guy.
Here’s a look at an excerpt from his actual quote…
” I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn’t talk to anybody anymore. I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show 'em that I'm still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I'm not what I became."
Anyone who has ever dated someone outside their circle of friends knows a relationship can often alter the people you hang out with and what you do in your free time. Sometimes that transition is good; other times it’s not the best fit. Clearly, James feels like he strayed to far from what matters, but unfortunately, his explanation seems to completely ignore the fact that he cheated on both Sandra Bullock and Kat Von D. In the later case, he reportedly slept with almost twenty other women.
Look: I hope Jesse James gets his act together and reconnects with his friends. I’m sure he isn’t “what he became”, but overly simplistic reasons for his downfall won’t fool anyone given how publicly his life imploded twice. Sandra Bullock deserves a whole lot better than to be referred to as “some Hollywood actress” when, by all accounts, she did nothing wrong.
