Justin Bieber Uses Staples Center For Coolest Date Ever
Justin Bieber is a good dude. He could easily coast by in relationships with his feathered hair, choir boy smile and multi-million dollar bank accounts, but apparently, at seventeen, he’s already realized there’s no greater feeling in the world than watching a woman’s eyes light up after you’ve surprised her with something wonderful. Money and fame can’t buy that emotion, but they can certainly offer more grandiose ways to achieve that goal.
On Friday night, the Biebs escorted girlfriend Selena Gomez to the Demi Lovato concert at the Nokia Theater for a date night. After the performance was over, he took her hand and said, “Come with me.” The pair walked to the Staples Center where he surprised her with a showing of Titanic on the arena’s Jumbotron. How could anyone possibly orchestrate a better night out than that? I’m super excited about women, but if Justin Bieber took me to a stadium to privately watch the coolest boat ever sink, I’d still have the time of my life.
According to TMZ, the Biebs hatched the idea after watching Mr. Deeds, and its execution was bizarrely easy. As a thank you for selling out the arena on three different occasions, the Anschutz Entertainment Group offered him the place for free on any night it wasn’t occupied. Friday night was free, and that was that. I’d imagine the only hard part was keeping his mouth shut about the impending awesomeness during the Demi Lovato show. No offense to the former Disney starlet’s talent, but I’m not sure there’s many bands in the world that could compete with Titanic on the Jumbotron.
No word on how Bieber fared in the bedroom after his night out, but one would imagine it went better than the Titanic’s maiden voyage.
