Lindsay Lohan Turned Away From Luxury Hotel For Her Past Mistakes
By Mack Rawden 2 years ago
Until yesterday evening, Lindsay Lohan was planning to stay in New York City and miss her court date, but after photographs emerged of her shopping and looking healthier than the doctorís note she gave the court indicated, the actress and her mother decided to head for Los Angeles. Unfortunately, because of the late start, they didnít have a place to stay reserved, and when they tried to walk in and get a room at one of the nicest hotels in Santa Monica, they were turned away, not because there werenít any rooms but because Lindsay wasnít exactly the best guest in the past.
According to TMZ, Lindsay and Dina really wanted to stay at Shutters on the Beach, but when the Mean Girls star stayed there back in 2007, she allegedly trashed her room. After the incident, members of the management put her on a blacklist barring her from ever returning, and after six years, they havenít changed their minds.
After being turned down by Shutters, the Lohan girls headed over to Loews Hotel to try and get a room, but they were completely sold out. Where exactly they wound up is unclear, but considering LiLo did make it to court on time, one would imagine someone eventually took the pair in.
If nothing else, this is a good reminder of how important it is to be responsible when you stay somewhere. Being a poor guest can follow you around forever.
