SIR ELTON JOHN walked ELIZABETH HURLEY down the aisle for her church blessing with new husband ARUN NAYAR on Saturday (03MAR07). The model/actress, 41, wed Indian businessman Nayar, 43, in a private, secret civil ceremony at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, England, on Friday (02MAR07), before celebrating with their famous friends the following day.

Hurley asked close friend John to escort her down the aisle, because her own father ROY is dead, and he also performed YOUR SONG for the happy couple at the reception. At the reception, the couple were joined by celebrity friends including EVA HERZIGOVA, ELLE MACPHERSON, PATSY KENSIT, artist TRACEY EMIN and Jimmy Choo president TAMARA MELLON.

Nayar presented his bride with a $16,575 (#8,500) diamond choker, which she will wear at a Hindu blessing in India on Thursday (08MAR07). Celebrity photographer MARIO TESTINO took the official wedding photographs, while Hurley's employer Estee Lauder did her make-up.

The newlyweds are scheduled to arrived in Mumbai (Bombay), India today (05MAR07), where they will continue to mark their marriage with five days of festivities.
