Wow, I did not see this one coming. Even with all the Britney enabling and show-biz mooching off her children, I am still shocked by this recent allegation. Apparently, way back in 1975, Lynne Spears ran over a twelve year old on his bicycle, killing the poor boy. Brit Brit’s mom was just twenty when the accident occurred. Kinda sounds like our First Lady Laura Bush.

According to The National Enquirer, a source close to the Spears’ clan said, "To this day, Lynne hasn't gotten over what she did. She gets that terrified look in her eye when she is thinking about it." I’d get a terrified look too, if I was haunted by the ghost of a little boy I’d accidentally done in.

I’m not even sure what to say. Horrible things just happen. This doesn’t really make Lynne any worse of a person, at least in my eyes, but it is curious this debacle hasn’t seen the light of day in the last decade.
