Man Of Steel Trailer: Are You More Or Less Excited After Watching It?

There are few directors more polarizing working today than Zack Snyder. His vibrant, slow motion visuals captivate some moviegoers and leave others annoyed and bored. Consequently, the studio offering him the reigns to take Superman wasn’t exactly met with universal positivity. Christopher Nolan’s production credit, however, has left even more pessimistic fans with a reason for hope.

After months and months of waiting to see the new direction, fans were finally given a taste of two trailers featuring original footage from Man Of Steel. Since the only difference between the two involves the voiceovers, I’ve just embedded one below. Take a watch…

To be perfectly honest with you, I’ve never been incredibly on board with Superman. He’s always struck me as too powerful, but even with all the fishing imagery, I’m pretty pleased with this teaser. In fact, I think it might be enough to actually coax me into the theater. Not surprisingly, the visuals are great. More importantly, the tone seems to be spot on. I need a little Clark Kent brooding in my life, and I very much appreciate the fact that he’s not being presented as the awkward, stupid comments guy we’ve seen before.

I’m more excited after having seen this trailer. What about you? Has this increased your excitement? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
