Freeing herself up to pursue other interests, bazillion platinum pop star Madonna and her sometimes acclaimed husband director Guy Ritchie are set to finalize their seemingly decades-in-the-making divorce in London tomorrow. The power couple have several children and a bank account worth more than five hundred million dollars. No word on how any of that will be divided.

According to Reuters, neither party is expected to attend the closed door litigation, most likely because their mere presence would turn the proceedings into a zoo of paparazzi and unruly fans. Although neither celebrity has spoken publicly, most experts seem to agree the main sticking point will be the children, as Madonna plans to live in the United States and Ritchie the United Kingdom.

Here’s to hoping these two can reach an amicable solution which will benefit their kids first and themselves second. Money can’t buy you love, but it sure can ease the stress of organizing international travel on the holidays.
