Actress Michelle Rodriguez has been jailed for 180 days for violating her probation for driving under the influence. The Lost star admitted failing to complete community service and submitting a false document to show she carried out one day of community work on 25 September (07).

The 29-year-old was also found to have consumed alcohol on at least three occasions while wearing a monitoring bracelet around her ankle, in violation of a probation requirement she refrain from drinking for 90 days. A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ordered Rodriguez to start her term by Christmas Eve (07).

Rodriguez has been serving an extended period of probation as a result of being found guilty of driving under the influence in Hawaii in December 2005 and twice in Hollywood in 2003.
