Miley Cyrus' Family Approves Of Her Engagement
Parents may not have to consent to allow marriages to take place in most cases, but unions are far easier to maintain when both families approve. No one wants to sit through awkward Thanksgiving dinners for the rest of their lives, and no one wants to be hit with mother-in-law second guesses a few years after saying I-do. Luckily for Miley Cyrus and her soon-to-be husband Liam Hemsworth, it looks like those potential issues won’t be issues at all.
Sources close to both families told People that both Miley and Liam have spent extensive time with their future in-laws, and all involved approve of the relationship. She’s reportedly ventured down to Australia for a few holidays since she started dating Hemsworth, and he’s supposedly gotten to know the entire Cyrus crew, including father Billy Ray who went so far as to tweet his approval…
“All I ever hoped for as a Daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams. To find happiness...peace of mind ...and someday know... true love.”
Hemsworth proposed on May 31 almost three years after he started dating Cyrus on the set of their film The Last Song. The relationship was a bit rocky for the first few months with a couple of break-ups, but following those initial stumbles, it’s been smooth sailing. Pop Blend sends out its congratulations to all involved. Here’s to hoping the Cyrus’ and Hemsworth’s all wind up having a damn good time at the wedding.
