Moakler Moving on From Married Madness

'Meet the Barkers' and 'Dancing With The Stars' turned the former Miss USA Shanna Moakler from a pretty somebody into a controversial something. She has travelled the path to ‘Playboy’ to punk rock partner to pissed-off Paris pugilist, punching and/or getting punched by the uber-Hilton and her boytoy Stavros Niarchos. Apparently, some of that Paris magic rubbed off and landed on Moakler's career, as she continues to make the turn toward misappropriated celebrity.

The latest turn in the Travis Barker/ Shanna Moakler divorce takes place at the Light nightclub in the ‘Bellagio’ at Las Vegas. The Mrs. Ex-Barker decided to celebrate her break-up with a divorce party: "I've been to past friends' divorce parties so I'm not the first person (to have one)," she told 'People' magazine, "I'm not groundbreaking or anything. I'm really doing it for myself to have closure and celebrate being single again and start a new chapter in my life."

Shanna whooped it up, drinking drinks and slugging shots, says People. However, the highlight of the festivities rolled out at dinner, when the Ballagio's Fix restaurant presented Moakler with a "divorce cake". The three-tiered cake featured a mini- knife-wielding blonde in a wedding dress on top, with a trail of blood leading to a tiny groom laid out at the bottom.

Does our heroine feel odd throwing such an unabashed bash? "I don't have any regrets about doing it. I am who I am and I make my own decisions. I totally respect people's opinions. I never thought I would be getting a divorce. I never thought I'd be here. At the end of the day, this isn't the worst thing in my life. People go through it every day. I respect people's opinions, but this is my opinion. This is how I'm showing the world that divorce is okay. It doesn't have to be the end of your life."

She may need to get started pitching "Dancing with the Ex-Barker" real soon.
