Pattinson Studies Running For Next Twilight Movie

Robert Pattinson has taken running lessons for the third Twilight film - because he hates the way his character "skips" about in the first two movies. The Brit admits he felt he had to run "more solidly" as brooding vampire Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

He tells WENN, "I had to learn how to run properly. In the last two I was running with a limp skip, and I had to look like I could run more solidly this time. So I spent a lot of time on a giant treadmill... and I got filmed doing it to improve my form."

And there's something else Pattinson dislikes about his character in the first two Twilight films - his eyes. He explains, "If I could change anything about Edward, apart from the running, I think it would probably be the contact lenses, because they make me miserable once I put them in. They sort of create the pouting and brooding character."

He's preparing to make a big image change for the next Twilight movies - Edward will appear shorn: "Vampires can cut their hair, so I like the idea of Edward having a shaved head in the next one. That could be kind of cool." (KL/WN&RXM/MT)
