Plaxico Claims Shooting Was At Applebees, Turns Himself In

Oh Plaxico. What a tangled web wannabe thug football players can weave. After giving hospital employees a fake name, Burress told staffers he was shot at a local Applebees, a wild accusation I’m sure the family-friendly low end sit-down juggernaut is just thrilled over. When are people going to learn doctors can easily discern whether you were shot or accidentally shot yourself in the leg with your own gun?

According to TMZ, Plaxico Burress, along with his high profile attorney Ben Brafman, headed to the 17th Precinct in New York City to turn himself in. The wide receiver will reportedly be arraigned this afternoon, and according to Brafman, will plead not guilty to a felony charge of possession without a permit.
