Puddle Of Mess: Lead Singer Wes Scantlin Arrested Again

It’s been a bad week for lead singers. Less than twenty-four hours after As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis was arrested for allegedly trying to have his wife murdered, Puddle of Mudd’s public face was hauled off to jail because of two outstanding warrants. The charges trace their way back to recent driving with a suspended license and cocaine possession cases, but as for how they went from legal matters he was dealing with to outstanding warrants is unclear.

According to TMZ, the incident in question happened last night in Hollywood, California. Authorities allegedly pulled the singer over for speeding around 11:30 PM, and when they ran his license, the warrants came up. He was reportedly arrested on the scene almost immediately, but once he got to jail, he posted bail and was released within a matter of just a few hours.

Taking care of things immediately when it comes to the court system is always the right policy. Otherwise, life turns into such an element of chance, and no one wants to walk down the street and know at any moment he or she could be arrested for something that happened way in the past.

Scantlin has a nice voice, and his band has had some big hits in the past. Hopefully, he’ll be able to put all of these messes behind him and starting focusing all of his efforts on music again. Whether he churns out radio-friendly material or not, any time he spends on music is far more productive than time spent in a courthouse or even worse, jail.
