Former UFC World Champion and scary black man Quenton Rampage Jackson was taken into custody yet again yesterday, after several of the fighter’s friends waved down a police officer and informed the 5-0 of his erratic behavior. By now, I’m sure you’ve all heard about the outrageous monster truck chase with police and his subsequent arrest, but this second incarceration pretty well illustrates what may be a total freefall for someone many considered the toughest man on the planet just a few short months ago. Shades of Mike Tyson, anyone?

According to TMZ, cops took the beleaguered former champion to a local hospital for observation. They’ve been hush-hush thus far when asked if he’s being forcibly held. I’d have to imagine he is. You can’t lead police on a high-speed pursuit, put the fear of God in your friends, and then leave custody whenever you feel like it. Unless you’re O.J. Simpson.

What a shame! It’s all good fun when an untalented celebrity with nothing left to offer society implodes in epic fashion, but Rampage is one of the most exciting fighters on the planet. He has all the talent to go as far as he wants in MMA, and it’s a shame he might throw it all away.
