Does anyone else remember Paula Goodspeed? She sauntered around in a pink number during the American Idol tryouts one season, talking about how much she loved Paula Abdul. She even showed off some incredibly creepy drawings of Paula to the Idol producers. Well, the bitch snapped. After reportedly stalking Miss Abdul for an unknown period of time, police discovered the body of the other, less famous Paula in a car outside the former’s Sherman Oaks Home. The death is currently being investigated as a suicide.

Jumpy and sporting new braces, it was rather obvious to most viewers that something was a little off about Goodspeed but honestly, no more so than many of the delusional, off-key rejects which populate American Idol’s first handful of episodes each season. There’s no word yet on a possible statement from Paula Abdul or anyone involved with the hit reality show, but it’s fair to assume one will be forthcoming.
