There are still plenty of question marks surrounding the death of Sage Stallone, but the thirty-six-year-old’s family members did all they could to push those wonders aside during a service at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church. The beautiful facility is located in Brentwood, California, and today, it played home to the actor’s memorial. The ceremony was reportedly limited to only close family members, and Sly, his wife and his brother Frank were all in attendance.

No one in the family has spoken much publically about what they think might have happened, but Sly has offered a statement on the torture he’s felt over the last week. Here’s a look at it, courtesy of TMZ
"This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage is our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace."

None of us know the pain Sylvester is feeling right now, but Pop Blend’s thoughts go out to him, as well as the rest of Sage’s family. He made the most of his screentime in Rocky V, and by all accounts, he was a film historian and a loving friend. Hopefully, today’s ceremony brought those who cared most at least a small measure of closure.
