Whatever happened to good old slaps on the wrist or boys will be boys lectures? Twenty-one year old mega-stars like Shia LaBeouf aren’t supposed to face real consequences for their erratic behavior, at least until the good looks subside around thirty.

According to Star Magazine, this whole ordeal isn’t a pinky-less fact yet, but doctors have advised the actor amputation is a real possibility. His publicist is yet to release a statement, but news has reportedly sent the Transformers 2 set into a frenzied turmoil.

Here’s to hoping Mr. Le-Boof is able to keep all ten of his fingers and the nerdy good looks, at least for awhile.
