Far be it from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone to ever play one safe. The duo known for their biting, satirical and progressive comedy have announced plans to skull fuck Brigham Young and his eighty seven wives in a new Broadway musical aptly named Mormon Musical. The production, penned by the progressive team with the help of Jeff Marx, is currently being workshopped with an aim on starting rehearsals in December.

According to The New York Post, Mormon Musical will star Broadway favorite Cheyenne Jackson and a reported other slew of famous faces who haven’t yet been announced. To be perfectly honest, I’m a little confused as to why Parker and Stone would take on Mormonism. It’s not like that religion is particularly notorious for excluding African-Americans until the late ‘70s.

Brace yourself. The protests will likely be pronounced and epic.
