Steph Tanner Is A Tattle Tale

Author: Mack Rawden

How rude! Precocious extrovert and former host of Fuse’s Pants Off Dance Off Jodi Sweeten sold her tell-all memoir to the highest bidder today, and the lucky publishing house turned out to be Simon Spotlight, the same company which recently published Tori Spelling’s autobiography. At least they know there strengths.

According to The Observer, Sweeten’s book, which will chronicle both her time as Stephanie Tanner on Full House and her much-documented battles with meth addiction, fetched six figures on the open market. I’m not an accountant, but that lofty figure seems a little staggering for the middle daughter on a fairly popular ‘90s sitcom. Then again, I’m already excited to read this penned gossip. Who knows how many other catty buffoons are planning on snatching this memoir up too?

On a serious note, though, as much as I’m opposed to tattling on all your friends for enormous profit, it’s nice to see Jodi getting her life together. She had a few rough years after the show was cancelled. Here’s to hoping she saunters on atop the straight-and-narrow path.
