TV Star Tanner Pleads Not Guilty In Social Security Case

One Tree Hill star Antwon Tanner has pleaded not guilty to charges in connection with a social security card scam.

The actor, who plays Skills on the teen show, handed himself over to federal prosecutors on Thursday (16Apr09). He appeared in a Brooklyn, New York court on the same day to face charges of selling social security numbers and cards. If convicted, Tanner faces five years in jail.

The actor and his legal team have refused to comment on the case. (MJ/WNWA/ZN)
