Former child star Marty York has been sentenced to 60 days in jail after pleading guilty to domestic battery stemming from a brawl with his girlfriend in April (09).

The Sandlot actor will also have to undergo 52 weeks of counseling and a five-year probation period, according to TMZ.com. York originally pleaded not guilty in June (09) following his arrest on Easter Sunday (12Apr09) for an altercation with his lover as they drove home from a Los Angeles nightclub.

His girlfriend forgave him for the incident, and appeared by his side as the case was heard in May (09) - but York finally admitted his guilt in a Los Angeles court on Friday (16Oct09). (CL/WNWCZM/LR)
