I’ve said a lot of awful things about Dane Cook both on this website and in person to anyone who will listen, but this embezzling shit is not cool. In case you haven’t heard, Dane Cook’s half-brother Darryl McCauley has been arrested and charged with allegedly swindling the comedian out of millions over the course of the last decade. The douche bag has been charged with three counts of larceny and one count of forgery.

According to TMZ, McCauley allegedly stole three million dollars from Cook with one check. That’s not even smart criminal activity. That asshole with the Ponzi scheme stole fifty billion but he did it slowly, over a long period of time, with a lot of different people’s money. You can’t just raid an account for three million dollars and expect people to look the other way. That’s grossly negligent.

Here’s to hoping the asshole spends a lot of time in jail for betraying his own brother.
