The Wolf Eel: Check Out Footage Of This Hideous Aquatic Beast

Have you ever seen footage of a disgustingly ugly animal and immediately checked Google to make sure the beast wasn’t a CGI figment of some film student’s imagination? I’ve done that several times but I’m not sure I’ve ever been more convinced I’d encounter a hoax than after seeing this video of the Wolf Eel. Hilariously, however, it turns out this hideous, snake-looking, jagged teeth-sporting mistake is actually a real creature haunting the world’s oceans.

Take a look at some disturbing footage the fine people over at the BBC were able to grab with an underwater camera…

I don’t understand how the cameraman is so comfortable with this hungry predator sliding through his legs. He even turns to the other camera and laughs about it, as if this merciless predator isn’t just inches away from his balls having nefarious thoughts and bouncing his jagged teeth between his gums. It makes me want to throw up just thinking about it.

Someone needs to send this footage to ZeFrank immediately so he can do the next entry in his True Facts series on the Wolf Eel. If ever a creature was made for the show, it is most certainly this one.
