New Album From Bob Dylan Hitting Shelves In September
Americaís most prolific songwriter, Bob Dylan, is 71-years-old, and it stands to reason he might decide to slow down sometime soon. Contrary to reason, however, Dylan produced 5 albums in the first decade of the new millennium, and he shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. A few months back, there were rumors a new album was on its way, and now Columbia Records has confirmed Dylan has a new title, and it will hit shelves fairly soon.
Back in March, Los Lobosí David Hidalgo sang the praises of Dylanís boundless creativity, also telling The Aspen Times he had recently spent some time recording with the "I Feel a Change Comin' On" singer in California. Several months later, those tracks and more are ready to see the light of day.
According to Rolling Stone, Dylanís new album, Temptest is heading to stores in September with a 9/11 release date. While specific track details are currently under wraps, the album will feature 10 all new songs produced by the musician himself under the title Jack Frost.
Whether or not you are a fan of the gravelly-voiced singer, Dylanís 2012 endeavor will mark fifty years of albums for fans, and that is a testament to both the artistís devotion and talent. Hereís to continuing until he canít, anymore.
