Bobby Brown Says Daughter Is Recovering From Whitney's Death
Whitney Houston was in the public eye for so long, it is difficult to remember her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is only eighteen years old. While any time is a tough time to lose a parent, being in the throes of teendom, when a personís brain is pruning and he or she is just trying to figure things out, must be more difficult than most of us can imagine. Which is why it is really no surprise that upon hearing the news, Bobbi Kristina had a breakdown and had to be taken to the hospital.
On Sunday, Bobbi Kristina was checked into the Cedars Sinai Medical Center, a nonprofit hospital located in Los Angeles, California. After spending a little time in the facility, she was released. Today, her father Bobby Brown assured People Bobbi Kristina is doing much better, now.
"Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her. We will get through this tragedy as a family."
Brown also spoke out about his daughterís healing process and asked that the familyís privacy be respected.
"We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother's death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected."
It is good that Houstonís daughter is doing better and will be able to spend a few days with the friends and family she loves and is close to before her mom's funeral on Saturday. It would have been really difficult to jump straight from a hospital bed in Los Angeles to a funeral ceremony in Newark, New Jersey. Pop Blend has Houstonís family in our hearts as they deal with the difficulties of the upcoming days.
