Demi Moore’s trip to the hospital might have been a shock to the outside world, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that the medical scare wasn’t a big surprise to those who knew her the best. From close friends to family members, several people reportedly asked the actress to cool it in the weeks and months leading up to the very public mess, but there’s one name that’s attracting more interest than the rest: Bruce Willis.

According to People, Demi’s movie star ex-husband paid her a visit a few weeks ago to express his concern over her behavior since Ashton Kutcher left the picture. Apparently, that rumored conversation didn’t do a whole lot of good, but in retrospect, it’s still probably best for Demi that it happened. It’s always good to know people care, and if X17 is to be believed, Demi’s previous two husbands both are still there for her. The two supposedly stopped by her house earlier today, though it’s unclear exactly what happened during their meetings. One would imagine it was more of a hang-in-there conversation than an aggressive tongue lashing.

Bruce and Demi’s daughters have moved in with their dad for the foreseeable future while mom is seeking treatment, but Rumer has been spotted several times visiting her mother as well. Even with all the hoopla, it’s very clear the whole Willis-Moore-Kutcher clans are truly invested in each other’s lives. Hopefully Demi can use that support to transformer herself into a sober, healthy and responsible mother. There’s no reason to think she won’t.
