Did Arnold Schwarzenegger Make The Right Decision By Going Public?

Arnold Schwarzenegger may have refused to comment on the implosion of his personal life in the months following his wife leaving, but now that money is at stake, he can’t stop dissecting what happened. His new book, Total Recall, is set to be released this coming week, and in order to promote the work, the former California governor has released some of the more scandalous excerpts and completed an interview with 60 Minutes.

The broadcast sitdown is scheduled to air this Sunday, but in many fans, it has brought out conflicting emotions. On the one hand, we’ve all wanted to know what the hell Arnold was thinking when he stupidly flushed his entire relationship down the toilet. On the other hand, he’s supposedly still trying to get back together with Maria. There’s no way she or his kids are excited about all of their family secrets being shared with the world so Arnie can line his already full pockets.

There’s a chance the increased honesty could help Schwarzenegger get back in the public’s good graces, but even if it does, I think it’s probably the incorrect life decision. He’s already made hit movies, banked millions and been the governor. At this point, he should probably spend his energies focusing on his family.

What do you think? Was it a good decision for Arnold to start talking publically about what happened? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
