It was Miley Cyrus’ birthday last week, and the teen sensation hit up the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles for a mega-party. The star-studded event included her famous father and friends Rumer Willis and Kelly Osbourne. It was all reportedly predictable enough until the birthday girl was presented with a Bob Marley cake. Speaking to the crowd, Cyrus said, "You know you’re a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much fucking weed."

Whether innocuous or not, the comment was caught on tape by someone attending the party, and the footage surfaced over at The Daily. Here’s a look at the clip…



Kelly Osbourne, apparently much more aware there was film being taken, tried to save her friend by referencing Miley’s famous salvia smoking incident, but of course, the damage had already been done. There was no way it wasn’t ending up on the internet at that point.

Since the footage first went public, Osbourne took to Twitter to defend her friend and reiterate she was referencing salvia with her cake. According to her, she’s been calling Cyrus Bob Marley as a joke. Unfortunately, that explanation doesn’t totally jive with what happened. Osbourne said, “I thought Salvia was your problem, Miley” after the former Hannah Montana star talked about smoking weed, but it seems ridiculous that someone would need to be reminded of an inside joke they’ve apparently been in on.

The Daily’s source who leaked the footage said it’s common knowledge among Cyrus' friends that she is a stoner, but seeing as how anonymous sources aren’t always the most truthful, I wouldn’t buy that story without further proof. The question is whether the aforementioned clip is enough evidence.
