Scores of celebrities, politicians and activists are teaming up for a new campaign against hunger. That's far from unusual. Famous faces are very apt to fight for good causes. In fact, I can't watch television late at night for more than an hour without seeing someone I recognize talking about the plights of those less fortune, but the marketing pitch for the One organization's newest crusade has been turning a whole lot more heads than usual. It argues famine is the real obscenity and uses a whole lot of f-bombs to get across its message.

The commercial is actually very affecting, and it features George Clooney, Bono, Justin Long, Mike Huckabee, Clive Owen and a host of others. It's been working its way around the internet all day. You can take a look at it below…



I'm such a sucker for advertisements that skip back-and-forth between people to tell one linear story. I know the concept has been around for awhile, but it's just so sleek and seamless. Plus, it's incredibly refreshing to see all kinds of people across the political spectrum operating together for one common cause. I don't normally associate George Clooney and Mike Huckabee together in my mind, but as a team, they're pretty damn successful. Major praise goes out to whoever decided to give the former Presidential Candidate the final few lines. He might have some polarizing opinions, but he's incredible likable. The f-bomb feels more powerful coming out of his mouth. It makes me want to donate to fight hunger in Africa, and if it inspires you to do the same, head on over to One.org.
