Kardashians Admit To Looking Like Drag Queens
I'm not one to shy away from a good joke about the Kardashians, especially if it's coming from the family themselves. While Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney do claim that there's no such thing as wearing too much make-up, they also can admit that they tend to go a little overboard. The girls' late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, accepted that his daughters were going to wear make-up at a young age no matter what he said, so he hired a professional make-up artist to teach them how to do it properly. As a result, Kim tells Jane Magazine's website XoJane.com, "We've turned out to be the biggest trannies because of it!"
Khloe added, "We joke and we say we are like trannies because we love hair and make-up. I donít think we necessarily need it, but we love it." I have to say, I like celebrities that can make fun of themselves, though looking like a tranny isn't necessarily the worst thing. I've seen some drag queens that were way more fabulously groomed than any woman could possibly hope to be. They know what they're doing when it comes to glamming it up, as do the Kardashians. Complimenting her sister, Khloe continued, "But Kim, definitely, if you take off whatís on her face, her face is the exact same. She doesn't need it -- it's just like a mind thing to her. She really doesnít need any of that on her face."
I'm a girly girl myself, but I honestly don't know how Kim can wear as much make-up as she constantly does and still have flawless skin. That stuff can really weigh you down and clog your pores, which is why I tend to go with a more natural look if I'm doing something low key like hanging out with friends. Kim says her secret is that simplicity is key. Check it out, glamour girls:
I just use such a simple skin regimen. It's just literally cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. But I do use lots of moisturizer at night-- I think thatís the key. And I always use a makeup wipe to wipe off all my makeup. Then I use a hot washcloth and I use that because it kind of exfoliates my skin. And it just gets all the makeup off...and then I put on SO much moisturizer.
The girls' other beauty must-haves include Kourtney's favorite Yves Saint Laurent lipstick #13, Le Orange and Sally Hansen's Great Legs, which Kim swears by to help cover the psoriasis she has on her otherwise gorgeous gams.
