Taylor Swift might be sticking by her story that she was invited to Kyle Kennedyís recent wedding, but another person who was there has stepped forward to say the pop star was asked to leave on two separate occasions. Kathie Lee Gifford, best known for her co-hosting stint with Regis Philbin and her marriage to Frank Gifford, is actually the brideís grandmother by marriage. All agree she was formally invited to the wedding, and according to her, Taylor was not.

The subject came up on Today, and while the fifty-nine-year-old didnít seem overly excited to be talking about such a touchy subject, she did verify the tale thatís been going around. Hereís a look at her exact quote, courtesy of US WeeklyÖ
"The truth is, because I was there, Vicki's account is accurate."

Hereís the rub though. Kathie Lee thinks thereís a possibility Swift showed up to the wedding thinking she was actually invited. Of course, given how weddings work and how far in advance one has to request a plus one, she should have known better, but still, I suppose thatís preferable to knowingly crashing a wedding. That being said, thereís still the whole she stayed after being asked to leave portion of the story thatís not the best color on Swift.

I donít know what Swift thought sheíd accomplish by her actions, but in retrospect, it probably wasnít the best way to endear herself to her boyfriendís family.
