Kris Humphries Fails In Attempt To Serve Kanye West With Deposition Request

Kris Humphries reportedly tried to get a little sneaky in his ongoing divorce battle with Kim Kardashian, but like just about everything else he’s tried over the past year, his plan failed miserably. Attorneys for the NBA star have been trying to talk to Kardashian’s new boyfriend Kanye West for months. After repeated failures, they hired someone to dress up like a delivery man and bring a deposition request hidden in a Nordstrom box to the reality star’s house in hopes West would be there. Unfortunately, Kim saw through the ruse and told West not to come to the door.

No doubt Kim was pleased to have another reason to stick it up Kris’ ass, but unfortunately, not letting her new boyfriend get served will likely drag the divorce proceedings out even longer. Humphries has been doing everything in his power to tease the case out, while Kim has been trying to move things along. The soon-to-be ex-husband argues he needs time to prove the marriage was a fraud. The soon-to-be ex-wife argues they were only married for seventy-two days and should just move the hell on as quickly as possible.

Not surprisingly, most people seem to be buying her argument, but that hasn’t stopped Kris from pushing forward with his plan to make this last as long as possible. According to The New York Daily News, his attorneys are now demanding all documents related to Kim’s reality show, which, of course, they’ll almost certainly never get.

Expect this to take at least another six months, minimum.
