Lady Gaga Calls Ex-Assistant A Hood Rat In Vicious Deposition
There are celebrities out there who will settle with disgruntled former employees in order to make their complaints go away. Let the record show Lady Gaga is not one of them. Court records from a lawsuit the pop star’s former assistant, Jennifer O’Neill, filed have been made public, and if the mother monster’s deposition is any indication, she will spend a decade in court before she pays the “unqualified” “fucking hood rat” a single dime she didn’t earn.
According to People, O’Neill worked for Gaga between 2009 and 2011. During that time, she was paid $75,000 a year to accompany the pop star around the world and help streamline her hectic routine, but apparently, she wasn’t always the best employee. She was caught wearing the singer’s clothes, and she reportedly wanted no part of organizing the stuff in Gaga’s suitcases even though that was her job.
When the two parted company in 2011, she filed a lawsuit seeking more than three hundred thousand dollars in overtime, and the women have been fighting it out in court ever since. Here’s a portion of Gaga’s leaked testimony…
"It is, like, such an amazing luxury that I get to travel the world and have planes, she doesn't even see what a luxury it is, but she thinks it's owed to her for no reason. She slept in Egyptian cotton sheets every night, in five-star hotels, on private planes, eating caviar."
If Gaga wins the lawsuit, she has vowed to take the money O’Neill wants and split it amongst the rest of her employees who shut their mouths and work their asses off for her every single week.
I’m sure being a personal assistant sucks some of the time, and I can see why O’Neill probably got agitated by organizing twenty of Lady Gaga’s suitcases. But she was being paid $75,000 a year to travel the world. All of her expenses were taken care of, and she was still bringing in far more than an overwhelming majority of people to do a task a solid percentage of us could easily accomplish.
The world needs more people who put their head down and go to work.
