Linda Hogan Busted For Driving Under The Influence In Malibu

It’s been a bad week for reality star and famous ex-wife Linda Hogan. The fifty-three-year-old spent a few days in the hospital to be treated for an e coli infection, watched her ex-husband’s sex tape with another woman hit the Internet and got pulled over for driving under the influence. If you take it from her lawyer, two of the issues are intimately related and one is not.

The drunk driving arrest went down early Thursday morning at around 1:30 AM in Malibu, California. Linda’s lawyer told The New York Daily News his client had two glasses of champagne at a jewelry event but was disproportionally affected because she was on antibiotics for the e coli situation. The breathalyzer supposedly registered .084, which is just a whisker over the line. Unfortunately, over the line is the only fact that really matters about this equation, and Linda was officially charged with driving under the influence and released on $5,000 bail.

As for the sex tape, the former Mrs. Hulk wants to make it very clear it had nothing to do with the arrest. She and the former WWE champion have had plenty of problems in the past, but they’re reportedly in a great place right now and want to focus on getting along.

Given Linda doesn’t really have a long history of problems with the law, it’s unlikely she’ll face any jail time for the arrest, but we’ll keep you updated as the case winds its way through the court system.
